COMPOSITION. Dry cultured vaccine from B-82 strain from myxomatosis virus. Myxomatosis virus was reproduced in primary trypsin culture cells of rabbit’s kidneys. Vaccine is composed of rabbit’s myxomatosis virus B-82 strain with titer not below 104,0 TCID50 and protective medium. Dissolvent for Mixovac Vaccine was made from salts, glycerin, distilled or demineralized water.

COMPOSITION. Dry cultured vaccine from B-82 strain from myxomatosis virus. Myxomatosis virus was reproduced in primary trypsin culture cells of rabbit’s kidneys. Vaccine is composed of rabbit’s myxomatosis virus B-82 strain with titer not below 104,0 TCID50 and protective medium. Dissolvent for Mixovac Vaccine was made from salts, glycerin, distilled or demineralized water.
PHARMACEUTICAL FORM. Dry osculiferous mixture of yellow-white colour which is easily dissolved in the dissolvent, or in normal physiologic saline. The dissolvent for Mixovac Vaccine is transparent pallid fluid.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES. Immunity comes on the 9-th day after vaccination in rabbits and is kept for 9 months. The vaccine is not used for medical treatment.
INDICATION. The vaccine is used for prophylactic immunization against myxomatosis disease of rabbits in satisfactory, risk and unsatisfactory farming and living areas.  In satisfactory or risk farming and living areas rabbits are vaccinated once. Young animals are vaccinated from the age of 1,5 months and they are revaccinated in 3 months.
In unsatisfactory farming and living areas where rabbits have myxomatosis disease clinically healthy animals from the age of 28 days are subject to vaccination. Young animals are revaccinated in 3 months. Animals are vaccinated at any gestation period. Only clinically healthy rabbits should be vaccinated in facilities (rooms) in which there was no any case of disease or death of animals connected with myxomatosis disease on unsatisfactory farms. It is recommended to vaccinate animals in spring before the appearance of the basic disease carriers – mosquitos.
CONTRA-INDICATION. In case of animal’s vaccinations during the incubation period, it is possible that they die during the first four days.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS DURING THE USAGE. Vaccine is dissolved in the dissolvent or in the physiologic saline. The vaccine in vials (which contain 10, 20, 25 doses) for intramuscular vaccination is dissolved accordingly in 10, 20, 25 ml of the dissolvent or sterile physiologic saline.
VACCINATION SCHEDULE AND DOSAGE. Vaccine is dissolved in the dissolvent or in the physiologic saline. The injection is given to rabbits intramuscularly on the side of the thigh.
VACCINE SHELF-LIFE. 1 year from the date of its manufacturing.
DISSOLVENT SHELF-LIFE. 1 year from the date of its manufacturing.
CONDITIONS OF STORAGE. The vaccine is stored in a dry, dark place at temperature 6-10 0 С; the dissolvent is stored at temperature not below 3 0 С and not above 25 0 С.
PACKAGING. The vaccine is available in 10 ml glass vials containing 10, 20, 25 doses. The dissolvent is available in 10 ml and 50 ml glass vials.
