Virus-vaccine against Newcastle disease of poultry from the LaSota strain (SPF)

PHARMACEUTICAL FORM Dry mixture or a tablet with homogeneous structure of light brown or pink-cream colour.
Description
COMPOSITION. The first class embryonic virus keeping fluid of chicken (SPF) embryos with shielding medium on the basis of peptone or skim milk. Biological activity of the vaccine is not less 10 -9,0 TCID50. One dose contains Newcastle poultry virus disease from the LaSota strain 10 -6,0 TCID 50.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES. Immunity in poultry comes in 7-10 days following the vaccination schedule.
INDICATION. Vaccine is administered for active immunization of poultry irrespective of breed, eggs laying capacity and the molt season against Newcastle disease on risk and safe farms.
 VACCINATION SCHEDULE AND DOSAGE. The vaccine is administered intranasally, by oral [enteral] method, and in cases of the risk situation by aerosol.
Intranasal method of vaccination
The contents of the vaccine vial (ampoule) (1000; 500 doses) should be dissolved accordingly in 100 ml, 50 ml of the distilled or boiled cooling water.
 The diluted vaccine should be instilled one drop in the eye and in the nostril.
Enteral method of vaccination
If the poultry is vaccinated via drinking water the content of one vial (ampoule) should be dissolved in the distilled or boiled cooling water.
Vaccine is administered at the rate of:
15,0 ml per animal for chickens up to 21 days of age; 20,0 ml per animal for chickens of 7 weeks of age; 30ml per animal for poultry older than14 weeks of age; 40 ml per animal for poultry of 20 weeks of age.
Aerosol method of vaccination
The contents of the vaccine vial (ampoule) 1000 (500 doses) should be dissolved accordingly in 100-150 (50-75) ml distilled water and is administered via the spray method in the case of poultry disease not earlier than at 4 weeks of age.
VACCINE SHELF-LIFE. 12 months from the date of its manufacturing.
CONDITIONS OF STORAGE. The vaccine is stored in a dry, dark place at temperature (4 – 6) 0С.
PACKAGING. The vaccine is available in 10 ml glass hermetically sealed vials or ampoules containing 500, 1000 intranasal doses.
